Lisa Cates

Executive Director

Lisa was born in Fresno, California, but raised in northern Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Science. She has always had a passion for working with youth. Lisa is very close to her family; she has three sisters and one brother. She grew up with a lot of cousins, aunts, and uncles, but in family gatherings, you would always find her playing with a group of children. She has always loved engaging with children and building connections. Lisa is fluent in speaking, writing, and reading Spanish. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her two boys. She's been with Community Child Care Center since 2017 and loves the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life and community.
