Community Child Care Center (CCCC) is now hiring for the position of Education/Disability/Mental Health Manager (EdM) for our local Head Start and ECEAP Preschool Programs. This position oversees the development and implementation of the preschool program curriculum and classroom environments, while ensuring compliance with Head Start and ECEAP performance standards and regulations.

The EdM is key to CCCC’s Leadership Team, working within and contributing to the operational system, program development, continuous improvement, and special projects. This position directly supervises 4 Lead Teachers and 1 Administrative Assistant. The EdM also spearheads WA State Childcare Licensing, Early Achievers, and the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) for Early Care and Education Programs.

The office for this position is located at the CCCC Greyhound Way Location in Pullman, WA. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, a team approach, and is supported by professional consultants.

Job Requirements:

Pass a DCYF and WATCH criminal background check. Must be able to relate positively to children, staff, and parents. Must be able to speak and understand the English language. Receive a current TB screening and complete a physical examination, which verifies physical constraint job requirements. (Physical constraints required include the ability to hear a conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, and to use arms and legs and feet with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job. This includes evacuation of the building during emergencies). First Aid/CPR training and Bloodborne pathogens.
