Lead Teacher; position available now; Colfax Location
Pay Rate: $18.70/hr with Degree (30 ECE Credits); $15.96/hr without Degree
(30 ECE Credits)

Overview: Lead
teachers provide care and education for their students and
serve as a positive role model to families, staff, and
students. Responsibilities include writing and implement
developmentally appropriate lesson plans, maintaining a
healthy and stimulating classroom environment, maintaining
child files and education records, and facilitating parent
teacher conferences. The lead manages classroom staff of 1-2
assistant teachers. Our preschool classrooms serve students
age 3-5 years old and classroom size does not exceed 20
students at a time.

Qualifications: An
BS/BA degree with the equivalent of 30 college quarter
credits in early childhood education (credits may be
included in the degree or in addition to the degree) or a
valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with an
endorsement in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K-Grade3) or
Early Childhood Special Education. The Lead Teacher may
be provisionally hired, and work towards qualifications
through a professional development plan. CCCC will pay costs
of the plan to qualify staff, including college tuition,
books, and fees.
Support Teacher; 2 positions available now; St. James Location
Pay Rate: $14.93/hr

Overview:
We are looking for a nurturing candidate to join our busy,
team-oriented environment! Successful candidate will assist
in developing and providing a developmentally appropriate
curriculum, supervise and actively engage with children at
all times, provide positive and appropriate guidance
techniques, assist in keeping a clean and safe environment,
and participate in recommended team meetings and trainings.
The Support Teacher will implement program activities under
the direction of the lead teacher. The Support Teacher will
assume responsibility for the group, including management of
other staff, in the absence of the Lead Teacher.

Qualifications:
12 credits in early childhood education or a CDA (Child
Development Associate). Employees may be provisionally
hired if they agree to sign a Professional Development Plan
describing how the employee will meet qualifications in a
5-year period. CCCC will provide funding to assist with
meeting staff qualifications.
Full Time Cook; position available now; St. James Location
Pay Rate: $14.68/hour

Overview: Show
your cooking, baking, and kitchen management skills in this
fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a one-person kitchen
preparing breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack for
approximately 100 people ranging from age 2 through age 12
(and staff members too!). Menus and recipes are ready for
you to dive right in, but don’t worry, there is certainly
room to allow for your creative juices to flow!! You would
have support from the Health/Nutrition Manager and a cook
from another Community Child Care Center site to bounce
ideas and questions. Prior commercial kitchen experience is
not required, but confidence in a kitchen and
time-management is a must! Basic computer skills are needed
for food ordering and required paperwork. You must be able
to lift up to 50 pounds for receiving food orders and
completing weekly shopping. Join our team today and gain a

ensure our children in daycare/preschool settings are

Part Time Bus Driver; position available now; Greyhound Way
location
Pay Rate: $15.18/hr

Overview: If
you are a safe and responsible driver who love kids then
this position will fit you! Our bus driver is responsible
for the safe transport of children to and from our daily
preschool programming. Annually this position’s driving
records is checked and verified. The bus driver through
consistent vehicle checks ensures that all CCCC company
vehicles, including busses are well maintained and safe to
operate. Communication skills are essential as this
position works with staff, parents and children of the
program to provide this valuable service. Computer skills
are a bonus as there is reporting and tracking that needs to
be completed for the transportation programs on a monthly
basis.

Job Requirements: Candidate
must be at least 21 years of age. Successful candidates also
need a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
