Child CarePULLMAN: Our Pullman child care center located at our St. James Site and offers child care year around for full-time, part-time and drop-in care for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarten and before and after school children. Dinos – The Dinos classroom is for children 12 months to 2 ½ years of age. The Dinos goals are to educate your toddler through everyday experiences. We emphasize social and language skills through play, circle time, learning activities and meal time etiquette. Cognitive development are motor skills are developed through indoor and outdoor play, music, art and sensory activities. Math and science are also introduced as we prepare each child to move up to the preschool classroom.
Firebirds – In the Firebird classroom is for older preschool children that are transitioning into kindergarten or enrolled in kindergarten. The Firebird class highlights kindergarten readiness skills and reemphasizes skills being taught at school. At this stage, children are learning to cooperate within small and large group environments. They are learning to cooperate with other children during play and activities, use language to communicate wants and needs, as well as refining social skills. Eagles – The goal of our before and after school program is to provide a safe learning environment that is relaxing and productive. We encourage this time for children to unwind and play with peers. The children enjoy learning, sharing and playing with a variety of games and activities. Our summer program offers a variety of educational field trips and weekly swimming to the public pool. ![]() COLFAX: Our Colfax child care center is located in the Jennings Elementary School and offers child care year around for full-time, part-time and drop-in care for preschoolers, kindergarten and before and after school children. . Frogs – In the Frog classroom we focuses on learning through play, peer interactions, self-help skills and life experiences. We provide learning opportunities within the class that encourage the growth of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, emergent writing, cooperative play and literacy. The goal of our before and after school program is to provide a safe learning environment that is relaxing and productive. We encourage this time for children to unwind and play with peers. |
